Systems Thinking. Creating a Learning Organization.
Systems Thinking is a highly developed discipline for identifying patterns and interrelationships in complex systems and
learning how to change them.
Carson Greil uses systems thinking to move beyond a linear cause-and-effect point of view and to help clients see their
operation as a dynamic organism of interrelated functions and people.
By understanding the processes and cycles at work, a company can become a “learning organization” – one that integrates
seemingly unrelated activities and personnel to increase productivity and improve its ability to respond to change.
Mary Jo Greil has trained with Peter Senge, the pioneer of systems thinking in the corporate environment. Senge is
founder of the Center for Organizational Learning at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
